Sales Associate

Reports To: Store Manager

Status: Full/Part Time Non-Exempt

Pay: $10.00 to $16.00 per hour

Position Summary:

The sales associate is responsible for generating sales by providing the customer with an exceptional shopping experience. The sales associate maximizes sales by delivering efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable service. The sales associate should also ensure that the store is neat, clean, and well presented at all times and is expected to create a raving fan experience for each customer.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a smile and engaging attitude
  • Answer questions regarding the store and it’s merchandise
  • Build rapport and establish trust by asking questions and listening to the customer’s needs; present solutions to that meet customer’s needs
  • Support the store management team in driving and maximizing store sales to achieve store sales goals
  • Demonstrate product knowledge by consistently sharing this knowledge with customers
  • Assist customers in demoing merchandise on their device
  • Achieve personal sales per hour goals set by store management
  • Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized and appropriately merchandised
  • Maintain knowledge of Point-of-Sale (“POS”) procedures
  • Understand and apply Tricked Out’s policies, procedures and handbooks
  • Open and close cash registers, use magnetic card readers, perform tasks such as counting money, performing refunds, balancing cash drawers and making deposits
  • Once trained, can precisely install film or glass onto customer’s device

Qualifications:

  • Have a vehicle and/or reliable transportation
  • High school degree or GED
  • Retail sales and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Willing and able to work Fridays, Saturdays, some Sundays and holidays
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Basic knowledge of technology including computers and phones
  • Can easily and effortlessly build rapport and connect with customers
  • Must be dependable, punctual, responsible and trustworthy
  • Possesses excellent time management skills
  • Is open to feedback and works well within a team environment
  • Excellent multi tasking ability, i.e. greeting customer, shield install and store organization

Store Manager

Reports To: Regional Manager

Status: Full Time Exempt

Pay: $35,000 to $50,000 per year

Position Summary:

The Store Manager is responsible for leading a solid sales team, cultivating a fun and professional atmosphere and consistently achieve sales goals. The Store Manager leads with respect, builds self-esteem, provides valuable feedback and maintains discipline within the store. The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring that each customer receives a five star customer experience. This position oversees the ongoing training and education of the sales team. This person will spend the majority of their time on the sales floor selling to customers and training the sales team.

  • Supervise and lead a team of high quality sales associates
  • Create and maintain a positive and professional culture within the store
  • Ensure all company policies are being followed within the store
  • Recruit, interview, hire and train all new team members
  • Consistently achieve monthly sales goals
  • Provide valuable feedback to team members to enhance and grow their skills
  • Communicates well through e-mail, text and phone calls
  • Create a well-planned and thought out store schedule
  • Product inventory counted and recorded each store
  • Ensure the store is always clean, organized and appropriately merchandised
  • Must be able to attend Manager Training Meetings each month
  • Work a minimum of 42 hours per week
  • Must work all Mondays, Friday and Saturdays
  • Place weekly orders to maintain a stocked store
  • Must be willing to become Level 1 and Level 2 repair certified

 

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED
  • 6 months + full time management in a leadership position
  • Enjoys and excels in a fast paced environment with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be trustworthy, reliable, punctual and responsible
  • Has excellent problem solving skills
  • Has the ability to motivate self and others
  • Can easily connect and build rapport with people
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and organization skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening)
